Mississippi is one of a few State Medical Boards which only requires 1 year of approved ACGME Training in an Internshp/Residency/Fellowship for International Medical School Graduates who are Board Certified with the ABMS. International Physicians who are not Board Certified with an ABMS Board are required to have 3 years of PGT Training in the USA or Canada.
